With more than 30 years of experience in the surveying industry, Mick Fitzpatrick, director of Aquamap Hydrographic Services, is a guarantee of professionalism. Having previously worked with the Marine and Ports Division of Queensland Transport, he was Hydrographer of the Port of Townsville for 12 years, so he has plenty of industry expertise. Aquamap has be operating for over 20 years on some of the world’s biggest projects.

Based in Townsville, Queensland, but working worldwide, Aquamap Hydrographic Services uses state-of-the-art RTKGPS and sonar equipment and is subsequently well equipped to work on any hydrographic project. While operating the latest surveying software, Clients can be assured that all work is performed effectively and to the highest standard.

A registered Level 1 Hydrographic Surveyor with the SSSI (formerly ISA) through the Australian Hydrographic Surveyor's Certification Panel since 1997, Mick holds accreditation at the highest level in the field of Coastal Zone Management. He also has a Master V Certificate, skippering vessels to 24m so he can carry out Aquamap’s operations with minimal assistance.
